My husband and I live on the lower peninsula of Maryland’s eastern shore. We reside in a quiet neighborhood hidden away from the busy resort town in a house we originally built for retirement. We live with our two dogs and an abundance of wildlife. We enjoy the outdoors and look forward to fishing every weekend either on the river, the lake, the pond, or the beach. John occasionally partakes in offshore fishing.
I started my blog, Legit Hit Fishing, with the intention of bringing insight to fishing for the sixty plus couples. Am I an expert on fishing? Certainly not, but I do adore everything about it. I learn something new every time out. We started with a sixteen foot aluminum Tracker boat and a year later we are fishing out of a Nitro Z19 Pro. Truly the best move for us. I want to share our shenanigans as we embark on our latest outdoor fun – river, lake, pond, and surf fishing. At our age it can be done and the lower shore is the perfect venue. I hope to impart some knowledge on local fishing, invite you to explore new places, and possibly offer some unknown tidbits.
Why Legit Hit Fishing?
Actually it didn’t take long to come up with the name. When we get a hit on our line we always say, “That was a legit hit”, and it stuck. We are a couple catching a couple and no bikini is required!
